Dancing dogs, pony rides, feline friends, exotic animals, unique pet products, and plenty of family activities highlight the 2010 All Pet Festival. With two indoor demonstration areas, outdoor activities and over 50 exhibits and displays, there is much to see and do.
On display are lovable pets of all varieties, shapes and sizes. From the largest to the smallest you’ll see kittens and cats, puppies and dogs, bunnies, mini donkeys, horses, goats, alpacas, and more! A special display by Critters’ N Creatures of Merrimack showcases some uncommon pets. Not your usual fare, you’ll see a marbled polecat, armadillo, a chinchilla, a large tegu lizard and many other exotic creatures.
Main Stage demonstrations include members of the Manchester Police force and their K-9 partners. See well-trained dogs and learn about their important duties, outstanding training, clear protectiveness, and outstanding temperament that help them catch criminals. For a hands-on adventure, learn the basics of dog sledding from Muddy Paw Sled Dog Kennel. Located in the heart of the White Mountains in Jefferson, NH, Muddy Paw Sled Dog Kennel is comprised of 86 sled dogs, ranging from racing Alaskan Huskies, to more traditional breeds like Siberian Huskies and Malamutes.
Dog lovers will enjoy the large “Dog Sport” Demo area featuring agility sports. All weekend, the All Dogs Sports Teams will demonstrate dog agility, an exciting dog sport that involves an obstacle course of jumps, tunnels, a seesaw and more. You will also see “Dancing with Dogs” performed by Canine Capers - Dancing Dogs of NH and friends from around New England. This musical freestyle dog sport mixes obedience and tricks, with creative choreographed routines set to music.
